Vehicle: 93 Geo Storm — Owner: Johnny Brown
1. We hooked Johnny up with a set of TSW 17 inch Silver VX1 Wheels and a set of Yokohama tires.
We also got him hooked up with a set of custom lowering springs for the front end.
The rear was already squatting with the weight of the audio equipment::))

2. Johnny was looking for some serious SPL so we decided on 6 Image Dynamics DVC 12’s in a wall.
The woofer enclosure is two sealed chambers of 3.75 cubic feet each.
The interior of the box was treated with Cascade Audio’s V-BLOK to eliminate any chance of cabinet resonance.
Major structural bracing was employed as well to keep the whole structure as tight as possible.
The front of the enclosure is formed to the interior of the rear compartment and wrapped in gray vinyl to match the vehicle’s interior

3. The rear of the vehicle houses the amplifiers (3 Kicker ZR-240’s), Distribution, and 2 Phoenix Gold, 1-Farad Stiffening Capacitors to keep the amps well fed with power.
Powering the system is an Optima Red-Top Performance Battery fed thru Stinger 4-Gauge primary power wire.

4. The rear hatch was blacked out to keep prying eyes and the heat of the sun off of the amplifiers.
The shroud for the amps is vinyl wrapped masonite mounted over blue plexi-mirror to give the amps a “floating” look.
All wiring is hidden behind this panel.

5. Mids & Highs are supplied by a Kicker Impulse 6-1/2 Component Set mounted in the front doors with the tweets surfaced in the dash.
A single ZR-240 feeds the component-set. Head is a JVC KD-SX930 running thru an Audio Control Epicenter for a little added “ummph”.

6. The entire vehicle is protected by a security system from JTI.
We also added keyless entry and a power window kit from Spal.
SPL measurements haven’t been made in the car but best estimates place it in the lower 150+ range.

Johnny plans an upgrade of the head shortly to an Alpine Double Din in-dash 3-disk changer & MD player. We’ll show you that when he gets it done.
